“It was luxuries like air conditioning that brought down the Roman Empire. With air conditioning their windows were shut, they couldn’t hear the barbarians coming.”Garrison Keillor

I’ve been lucky. All my adult life I’ve had a friend or friends in the heating and cooling business. After high school my friend Dave went into the HVAC business and years later when I got married my father in law was the owner of a large AC/Refrigeration Company. My father in law and my three brothers in law have over a hundred years of heating and cooling experience between them. Over the years I’ve spent countless hours on the roof of my retail business with my brother in law Johnnie trying to keep my old dying commercial AC unit running. Alright Johnnie was keeping it running I was just pestering him with questions about what he was doing.

One of the greatest benefits of having a friend in the business is having someone to call and walk you step by step through the troubleshooting phase of a broken air conditioner. Helping you find the simple little problems that don’t require a service call at all. That’s what we hope to be for you, a friend with a website instead of a phone but with answers just the same.
